Cannabis cube
Root development in the cube rather than under it
The Cultilene Cannabis cube is a stone wool propagation cube that is made using X-fibre technology. Instead of the usual horizontal or vertical fibre direction, the fibres are laid in all directions throughout the substrate. There are two advantages to this: rapid rooting in the vertical fibre direction and better root penetration of the substrate volume in the horizontal fibre direction.
This results in more roots in the cube, and especially at the top. That is one of the most important and unique characteristics of the Cannabis cube. Also, this cube has exceptionally good rooting in the cube with minimal vertical variation in WC, EC and pH.
Advantages
- High consistent stone wool substrate quality
- Cross fibers for a better distribution of water and
more roots throughout the cube - Improved water retention
- Less water usage
- Easy, clean and light to handle
- Made of recyclable material
- Cultivation support on root zone management.
Big Six
At Cultilene we constantly strive for optimal root conditions. So your crop can benefit the full potential of the stone wool substrate and you can get the very best results from your crop.
In practice the primary focus is more often on above-ground factors, particularly the condition of the cannabis crop. But many essential processes take place in the root zone as well.
For instance, a good and healthy root environment is the basis for optimal plant balance, a healthy, active crop and high yields. To keep the root zone – and therefore the plants – in peak condition, there are six key factors to consider: water content, EC, pH, oxygen, microbiological life and temperature. In other words, The Big Six.
